WEEK 3 OF PRACTICUM

WEEK 3 17-21 JUNE 2024


During my teaching schedule, I managed to conduct 33 periods across various classes, including Class 403, Class 503, and Class 302, as well as Tahfiz classes for Form 3 and Form 5. To ensure that I maintained a balanced approach to both my professional responsibilities and personal well-being, I applied for two days of leave on Tuesday and Wednesday. This brief break allowed me to recharge and return to my teaching duties with renewed energy and focus, ultimately benefiting my students and enhancing the learning environment.


SWOT analysis
In general, during week third I had noted that my ability to use various method to help my students learn.

Following that, I recognized that paying too much attention to detail was still one of my weaknesses. I would still spend a lot of time on trivial stuff, causing my time to drag. I then took action by developing a list of the most important tasks that needed to be completed first.

Last but not least, the threat that I identified was that I went a little faster to finish the syllabus, causing some of my pupils to fall behind.

WEEK 12 OF PRACTICUM

 I currently teach 33 hours a week, covering three main classes: 302, 403, and 503. Additionally, I instruct Tahfiz classes for both Form 3 and Form 5 students. Although it’s a demanding schedule, I find it fulfilling to guide students through a variety of academic and religious topics, especially now in my final week of practicum. As part of my duties during examination week, I was assigned as one of the exam supervisors. The exams were held from August 5th to August 15th, and my role was to ensure everything ran smoothly for all classes and subjects. With this being the last week of my practicum, it has been a valuable experience in managing responsibilities during such a critical period. WEEK 2 OF PRACTIKUM

 WEEK 2. 10-14 JUNE 2024 From June 10 to 11, our school organized an engaging Activity Week, which meant that regular classes were suspended to allow students to participate in a variety of events. The schedule was packed with exciting activities, including a movie night that brought students together for a fun cinematic experience, a lively debate competition that encouraged critical thinking and public speaking, and a vibrant "gerai jualan" (sales booth) where students showcased their entrepreneurial skills. This week fostered a sense of community and allowed students to explore their interests beyond the classroom. Following the Activity Week, our school held the Perkhemahan Perdana (Premier Camp) over two days, on June 12 and 13.
