WEEK 11 OF PRACTICUM

 Week 11: 12-16 August 2024


I teach 33 hours each week, managing three primary classes: 302, 403, and 503. Additionally, I lead Tahfiz classes for Form 3 and Form 5 students. This workload keeps me quite busy, but I find it rewarding to support students across various academic and religious subjects

During the examination period, I served as one of the exam supervisors. The exams took place from August 5th to August 15th. My responsibility was to oversee the process, ensuring everything ran smoothly across the different classes and subjects being tested.

Another strength that i had found in me during the second week of my practicum was that patience. Sometimes some of my students made me angry as the students did not do their homework even though i only gave the students one to four questions. The students made me almost raise my voice. But instead of raising my voice, i used a few constructive advice and made sure that they knew they had done something wrong.

Whereas the weakness i had identified during my second week of practicum were sometimes when i had too much of activities it will cause me to become rushing in everything. This will also affect my teaching session.

WEEK 12 OF PRACTICUM

 I currently teach 33 hours a week, covering three main classes: 302, 403, and 503. Additionally, I instruct Tahfiz classes for both Form 3 and Form 5 students. Although it’s a demanding schedule, I find it fulfilling to guide students through a variety of academic and religious topics, especially now in my final week of practicum. As part of my duties during examination week, I was assigned as one of the exam supervisors. The exams were held from August 5th to August 15th, and my role was to ensure everything ran smoothly for all classes and subjects. With this being the last week of my practicum, it has been a valuable experience in managing responsibilities during such a critical period. WEEK 2 OF PRACTIKUM

 WEEK 2. 10-14 JUNE 2024 From June 10 to 11, our school organized an engaging Activity Week, which meant that regular classes were suspended to allow students to participate in a variety of events. The schedule was packed with exciting activities, including a movie night that brought students together for a fun cinematic experience, a lively debate competition that encouraged critical thinking and public speaking, and a vibrant "gerai jualan" (sales booth) where students showcased their entrepreneurial skills. This week fostered a sense of community and allowed students to explore their interests beyond the classroom. Following the Activity Week, our school held the Perkhemahan Perdana (Premier Camp) over two days, on June 12 and 13.
