WEEK 10 OF PRACTICUM

 Week 10: 5-9 August 2024


I teach 33 hours a week, handling three main classes: 302, 403, and 503. In addition to these, I also conduct Tahfiz classes for Form 3 and Form 5 students. Balancing these responsibilities keeps my schedule full, but I enjoy working with students at different levels, especially guiding them through their Tahfiz studies.


During examination week, I had the role of an exam supervisor. The students had their exams from August 5th until August 15th. Overseeing the exams and ensuring that everything went smoothly was an important task, especially given the range of subjects and the different class levels involved.





SWOT analysis

The strength that i had found in me during the third week of my practicum was leadership. I

While my weakness, which I discovered during my third week of practicum, was that I still sometimes hurry through things when I have too many activities going on. My lesson will also be impacted by this.

Last but not least, the threat I had identified was that, occasionally, if I engaged in too many activities, it prevented me from having enough time to prepare my instructional materials. My lesson will also be impacted by this.

WEEK 12 OF PRACTICUM

 I currently teach 33 hours a week, covering three main classes: 302, 403, and 503. Additionally, I instruct Tahfiz classes for both Form 3 and Form 5 students. Although it’s a demanding schedule, I find it fulfilling to guide students through a variety of academic and religious topics, especially now in my final week of practicum. As part of my duties during examination week, I was assigned as one of the exam supervisors. The exams were held from August 5th to August 15th, and my role was to ensure everything ran smoothly for all classes and subjects. With this being the last week of my practicum, it has been a valuable experience in managing responsibilities during such a critical period. WEEK 2 OF PRACTIKUM

 WEEK 2. 10-14 JUNE 2024 From June 10 to 11, our school organized an engaging Activity Week, which meant that regular classes were suspended to allow students to participate in a variety of events. The schedule was packed with exciting activities, including a movie night that brought students together for a fun cinematic experience, a lively debate competition that encouraged critical thinking and public speaking, and a vibrant "gerai jualan" (sales booth) where students showcased their entrepreneurial skills. This week fostered a sense of community and allowed students to explore their interests beyond the classroom. Following the Activity Week, our school held the Perkhemahan Perdana (Premier Camp) over two days, on June 12 and 13.
